چکیده

In response to tackling the environmental consequences of fertiliser production, biofertilisers from organic sources are strongly promoted in line with circular economy and maximising resource use. Despite outstanding potential bio-based fertilisers for sustainable development agricultural sector, an investigation these is required replace synthesised fertilisers. Considering importance iron as a plant micronutrient scientific gap assessment relevant fertilisers, iron-based produced EU US geographical zones selected case study this paper. Therefore, examines performance two (Fe-biochelate Fe-EDDHA) by life cycle (LCA) methodology. The LCA model has been implemented Simapro software ecoinvent database ReCipe 2016 method considering 1 kg content functional unit. results revealed that Fe-biochelate reduced impacts (69–82%) on all categories, including global warming (69%), terrestrial ecotoxicity (82%), fossil scarcity (77%) comparison Fe-EDDHA. Soymeal acetic acid were main stressors identified while phenol, ethylenediamine glyoxal most significant contributors impact categories related As result, can be considered more eco-friendly alternative

Optimized Root Production During Micropropagation of New Iranian Apple Hybrid Rootstock (AZ X M9): Effects of Fe-EDDHA and Thiamine

Objective: In vitro propagation of AZ x M9 new apple rootstock resulted of breeding program of vegetative apple rootstock in Iran was investigated. Methods: Nodal explants were inoculated in Murashige and SKoog (MS) medium supplemented with various concentrations of 6-benzylaminon purine (BAP) (0.4, 0.8 and 1.2 mg/l) alone or with naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) (0.1 mg/l). We examined t...
